Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa literally translates as “connection”. In Vinyasa Flow this connection is between the movement of the body and the breath. We move mindfully as we flow from one pose to another.

Each class is different and I give lots of instruction regarding the placement of the body to ensure you are practicing safely. I also give modifications for poses so it doesn’t matter what level you are at and all are welcome.¬†

Vinyasa strengthens, tones, and stretches the body and helps to quieten the mind.

You will feel great after the class!

Yin Yoga

Yin is a slow style of yoga where we mostly stay on the floor.

We often use props like blankets, cushions and pillows to help relax us into the pose and let gravity do its work.

Poses are typically held for 3 minutes which increases our circulation and creates a more flexible body as we target and stretch our connective tissues. It is also extremely beneficial for the mind as we are providing our body time to practice being still.

This style of yoga is great to practice alongside Vinyasa Flow.
